How do I know your items are authentic?
When buying a piece of memorabilia, the buyer wants to know that it's legitimate and authentic. Signature Collectables realizes that it's business depends on authenticity, along with being able to prove it. We have been procuring and selling memorabilia for two decades. We will not sell or accept any item for which we can not guarantee the authenticity. We attach a Signature Collectables hologram to every item we sell, so that the buyer can be certain the item is 100% authentic. To read more about the authentication process, click here.
Do you accept personal items to be signed by Signature Collectable athletes or celebrities?
Yes, if we have a relationship with the requested athlete. Use the Special Request form to start the process of having your personal item signed by an athlete(s). This makes a great gift. Please note we reserve the right to refuse any item we do not find acceptable.
Why are some items listed at a different price on Ebay?
Signature Collectables, along with some of our wholesalers and retailers, sometimes place items authenticated by Signature Collectables on Ebay. We cannot set the final price on these items, however you are free to bid on them. When listing a piece of memorabilia on Ebay, our intention is to match or better the price that is listed on our site.
Does Signature Collectables buy memorabilia or autographed items?
No. Because of our stringent authenticity requirements, we are unable to purchase any items that we do not personally verify as being authentic.
Can I set up a meeting with my favorite athlete?
When we organize live events, it may be possible to set up a meeting with an athlete. That is, we can pass along your request to an athlete, and it may be possible to set up a meeting. If interested, contact us using this form.
Will Signature Collectables appraise items from the public?
Signature Collectables will not authenticate, or appraise, memorabilia products from the public.
What is a Signature Collectable "partner athlete"?
A Signature Collectable "partner athlete" is an athlete that has a unique relationship with Signature Collectables. Rather than paying the athlete a fee for their services, they are instead a "partner" of our company. The benefits of this kind of relationship motivate the athlete to take great care and attention to the memorabilia being sold by Signature Collectables. In addition, many will participate using their personal websites and blogs, which we will be launching in the near future.
Can I interact with the players directly, such as ask them questions?
In the near future, yes. We will be launching personal sites for the "partner athletes". Many of the athletes will answer questions from the public on a weekly basis. If you'd like to be notified when these sites are launched, contact us.
